Wills
A properly drafted will ensures that your wishes are carried out and your loved ones are protected. We prepare clear, legally valid wills that help avoid confusion and disputes later on. Whether your situation is simple or involves blended families, trusts or business interests, we’ll help you create a tailored plan that reflects your intentions.

Powers of Attorney
Having the right powers of attorney in place means someone you trust can make decisions for you if you’re ever unable to. We prepare Enduring Powers of Attorney, Medical Decision Maker appointments and other authority documents that suit your needs and give peace of mind to you and your family.

Probate
If you’re managing a loved one’s estate, we can guide you through the probate process from start to finish. We assist executors with obtaining a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration, gathering assets, handling debts and distributing the estate – all with care, efficiency and minimal stress.

Challenging a Will
If you’ve been unfairly left out of a will, or you’re an executor facing a claim, we can help. We advise on your eligibility to contest a will, negotiate fair outcomes and represent you in court if needed. Our aim is to resolve disputes quickly and cost-effectively while protecting your rights.

Why Choose Grange Lawyers?
Located in Maribyrnong, we offer clear, practical advice on wills, estates and powers of attorney. Whether you’re planning ahead or managing the affairs of a loved one, we make the process straightforward and stress-free. We aim to resolve matters efficiently and with compassion, while ensuring your wishes, or those of a family member, are properly carried out.

The Will – Securing Your Legacy

At your appointment we’ll discuss how you would like your estate distributed and you’ll receive advice on how that can be done in your Will.
You’ll also receive suggestions that you may not have considered that may suit your circumstances. Each Will is unique just as each person is unique.
After the appointment we prepare the Will and forward it to you for your approval a few days later. You then come in for a short appointment to sign. We offer a complimentary service where we can retain the Will for safe-keeping, or you can take it with you.

The Passing Of A Loved One

The staff at Grange Lawyers are sensitive to the emotional upheaval caused by the death of a family member or close friend and we understand the burden the legal side of the estate distribution can have.
We assist with contacting beneficiaries, lodgement of official documents with the Supreme Court, contacting institutions to advise them of the passing of their customer and to release funds and also transferring property to beneficiaries. Some estates are large and some small but the process is similar and treated with equal importance.
